(Baltimore County)- The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene has published an updated edition of "Maryland Medicaid: Home and Community-Based Long Term Care Services." This booklet was created to build knowledge about nursing facility placement among professionals, consumers and families and was made possible through federal grants.

"Many people are lost when it comes to knowing the options regarding the care for loved ones who cannot live on their own," said Senator Klausmeier, "I encourage anyone who has started, or will soon start, seeking care for their parents or other relatives, or who currently has family in a long term facility or receiving home care to get this booklet."
